Some prisoners in Nsawam prison tell how they are changing their lives inside the prison to facilitate a smooth transition back into society.
Speaking to a prisoner, currently enrolled in the Business Administration programme offered by the University of Cape Coast, he revealed that he holds HND in ICT using resources available in their ICT centre before registering for his college degree.
“I have been here for almost seven years, and I have six months to come out. He’s also schooling. He doesn’t joke with his studies too. Every night we wake up at dawn to read our books to acquire something good so that, when we come out, we can perform something good out there.
